Gather your tribe!

Updated: Jun 26, 2020

C O N N E C T I O N S – most of us interact with numerous people on most days of the week but are these connections giving you what you need? Are they feeding your soul? Those people who you can’t spend enough time with, who get your values, support you and give you the extra special boost of energy you need just by being with them. Something magical happens when you’re around these people - you’ll know who yours are. The ones who, when you leave them, you’ve topped each other up with love and energy.

As we navigate life, connections shift, change or even disappear. At times this feels uncomfortable, especially when the friends you’ve known for many years drift and you suddenly find yourself feeling less connected than you once were. But true connections are important for our growth, learning, nourishment, mental health, well being, and spiritual goodness!

Some connections will be with you for your whole life, some will come and go. New connections come about sometimes through conscious decisions, or often by accident - through new interests, your personal developmental journey, new jobs and different stages of life. People will drift away, and that is OK too. But it is necessary to top yourself up with new ones.

The journey takes us in all kinds of directions, down endless new paths. What once brought you together may no longer exist. Make peace knowing that you once supported each other but now you need something else. Nourish yourself with your new connections and old networks and all who fill you with love and acceptance, with information and joy. It is important!
