Let your values be your guide

How do your values guide you? Our values are our internal compass. They support everything you do or decisions you want to make. When you know the values you hold, they can be your guide - in life, in your career and when it comes to making changes.

One of mine, for example, is connection. I strongly believe in the power of connection. How does it help me?

In my work, it’s important for me to feel connected to what I'm doing, who I'm with and what I'm working on. When I’m connected, I am grounded. Connection and purpose go hand in hand and I don't believe there is one without the other. For me, I am motivated, and rewarded when there is a deep connection. I get energy from the source and am happy to give my full energy in return. It feels like joy.

I work with clients who feel similarly connected and who connection is also of importance. With this deep connection, we both experience openness, honesty, trust, support and a secure environment in which to work. For my clients, this means they know when they work with me, they receive my full attention and commitment, and that I truly believe in them and what they are capable of. This belief enables them to initiate changes in themselves, develop deep self awareness, identify direction, limiting beliefs, authenticity and balance - all which takes them to a place of inner harmony and balance.

When I lack connection, and things feel superficial, I lack interest, I’m fidgety. I can spend too long trying to create a sense connection where there is one missing and this drains my energy and gets me irritated.
